We read everything. We answer most things within a few working days. Including the URL of the page you are writing about saves a round trip.
What to write about
- Report an error
- Point us at the page and tell us what is wrong. Evidence helps but is not required — we will check it either way. Confirmed errors are corrected and logged in the page change history. Corrections policy.
- Submit a product for review
- Tell us the model, where it is sold in the US, and what documentation you can supply — particularly irradiance measured at a stated distance. Supplied units are disclosed prominently on the review and on any ranking. We do not accept review conditions or pre-publication approval. How we test.
- Ask about our methodology
- Questions about how something was measured, or why a product scored the way it did, are welcome. If the methodology page does not answer it, that is a gap worth fixing. Review methodology.
- Media and licensing
- Use of our measurements or photographs requires attribution and a link. Get in touch before republishing. Terms of use.
What we cannot help with
We cannot give medical or skincare advice. We are not clinicians, and we cannot tell you whether a device is suitable for your skin, your medications or your medical history. Please ask a qualified healthcare professional. See our medical disclaimer.
We also cannot help with warranty claims, returns, order status or faults with a device you bought — those go to the retailer or manufacturer. We are not affiliated with any of them.
